Mom’s Horseshoe Cable Scarf

Mom’s Horseshoe Cable Scarf

When you get to the halfway point of this scarf, the horseshoe cables change directions, so that the “prongs” of the “cup” that forms the horseshoe cable always point to the end of the scarf.  It only takes two skeins of the Hometown USA yarn, which is bulky and soft.  Since the scarf is only 16 stitches wide, it goes fast.

Yarn: 2 skeins of Hometown USA 4 oz/113 g, 64 yd/59 m, Color #217 El Paso Autumn
Needles: Size US13/9 mm needles.
